“A common phenomenon that can be observed in the countries where members of the International Network of Engaged Buddhists (INEB) bodhisattvas have been operating, especially in South and Southeast Asia, is that the people have not yet achieved enduring peace and social justice.”
Through IYBP 2025 a new generation of activists, social workers, and educators was introduced to the INEB network and the work of our members, as well as our understanding and practice of socially engaged Buddhism.
The International Young Bodhisattva Program (IYBP) brings together young leaders from across Asia and beyond to explore how Buddhist wisdom can respond to today’s global challenges.
Having the opportunity to join the IYBP in

lege, marks the beginning of my journey on
