Lodging for Speakers and Resource Persons Lodging for Speakers and Workshop Resource Persons is provided on the temple grounds which have shared rooms with beds, private bathrooms with Western style toilets. Room assignments will be made when the speakers and resource persons go through registration. |
RESERVATIONS: Please make your lodging arrangements as soon as possible because many other persons will be making a pilgrimage to Bodhgaya during the same time that the conference is taking place.
FOOD: The conference registration fee includes food for all four days.
LOCAL TRANSPORTATION: Some lodging is within walking distance of the conference site, otherwise local transportation will be available.
OTHER: Internet cafes are located in the area where the conference is taking place, but will not be available at the conference site.

Transportation Information & Contacts From Delhi ? Gaya TRAIN ? Some trains travel from Delhi to Gaya, however, persons who want to take these trains need to book their tickets 60 days before the journey because October is tourist session in India and seats may not be available.
AIR ? There are also some flights from Delhi to Buddha Gaya, as well as a daily flight from Delhi to Patna. The drive from Patna to Buddha Gaya takes between 2.5 -3 hours by taxi. There is also a train and a bus from Patna to Gaya. TRAVEL TIME IN KOLKATA/CALCUTTA – Please allow for one to one and one half hours (1 – 1 1/2) travel time from the Calcutta airport to the train station.
