Imagine turning on your co
mputer to see a meeting of some of the brightest visionaries in the world, ?coming together to address the big fix and solutions for a global crisis?and the participants are some of the greatest solution providers from around the world. Imagine not having to board an airplane or stay in a hotel, or leave your family and friends for several days.
Now Imagine this: Imagine a highly participatory and interactive event dedicated to real solutions for community building, customer engagement, green and clean energy, effective marketing, all with a global perspective that you can implement in your community. Imagine taking this information and putting it into practice.
During two weekends in April, April 21-22 and 28-29, some of these great visionary leaders are uniting for the first ever Better World Forum 2012, an event committed to showcasing new ideas, from idea to action.
You see, somewhere out there, in cities and communities all around the world, are people who are taking their ideas and creating new solutions for a better world. They?re students, children, scientists, educators— dissatisfied with the way something is not working and they?re passionately creating something new to make the world a better place for all of us.
There’s no doubt about it, we’re at a time of radical change in our lives. As businesses shut their doors, as people unite for global changes, exactly what are many of the real solutions that can enable a stronger ecosystem for our lives, for our businesses and for our children’s future? By bringing together some of the brightest and most compassionate minds committed to empowering local, regional, national and global solutions, BWF2012 was established by a group of concerned and compassionate team players who are committed to enabling a stronger and more sustainable world—through the arts, technology, media, new media, science, education—we are all here together. Please join us for this very special event.
We are delighted to announce our most recent addition, Bill McKibben of 350.org who joins an illustrious group of individuals including Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Deepak Chopra, Jack Healey (Human Rights Action Network), Dot Maver and numerous others.
