INEB Lead Historic MOU to Protect Novices

On 25th August 2025, INEB joined UNICEF Thailand, Mahidol University,
Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, the Bodhiyalaya Foundation and
the Department of Children and Youth Affairs in signing a landmark
Memorandum of Understanding to protect novice monks and children in Buddhist institutions.

Myanmar Earthquake Disaster Trauma Care

Following the aftermath of the 2025 Myanmar Earthquake a third level of
response took place amongst a small group of Buddhists who had already been
working in the fields of Buddhist chaplaincy, end-of-life care, suicide
prevention, and counseling. They began to train other Buddhists, both
ordained and lay, in the deep work of confronting serious levels of trauma
among not only survivors but also aid workers, who experienced numerous
harrowing scenes during the disaster and for days and weeks afterwards.
