Buddhist-Muslim Relations
In 2013 the Core Group of the International Forum for Buddhist Muslim Relations was formed which is comprised of INEB, the International Movement for a Just World (JUST) in Malaysia, Persyarikatan Muhammadiyah (PM) in Indonesia, and The Network for Religious and Traditional Peacemakers. The Core Group’s objectives are to:
- Serve as a platform for intra-religious and interreligious initiatives in education and advocacy
- Enable rapid reaction, solidarity visits, early warning, and conflict prevention
- Develop and provide tools and materials for constructive engagement and strategic common actions
- Develop the effective use of media for positive messaging, particularly via social and alternative media
