We are reaching out for your support for our bhikkhuni community in Southern Thailand, which is now facing severe flooding driven by the extreme and worsening weather patterns affecting the region.

Bhikkhuni Dhammakamala is a strong and deeply respected leader of the bhikkhuni sangha. For more than a decade, she has worked tirelessly to create opportunities for women to walk the path of the Buddhadharma, leading with independence, courage, and unwavering commitment.

Her aram provides care for elderly community members, more than 40 abandoned animals, and over 10 resident monastics—most of whom are also elderly. They are now experiencing acute shortages of rice and dried food, and they have no electricity or running water. Transportation in and out of the area has been cut off due to heavy flooding and persistent rainfall.

As Southeast Asia continues to confront the harsh realities of climate change, communities such as theirs are left increasingly vulnerable to disasters beyond their control. Your support at this critical moment is both urgently needed and profoundly appreciated.

น้ำท่วมใหญ่ในภาคใต้ทำให้อารามเล็กๆ ของภิกษุณีธรรมกมลา กลายเป็นเหมือนเกาะที่กำลังจมหายไปกลางสายน้ำ

ที่นั่นไม่ใช่แค่ที่พำนักของภิกษุณี แต่เป็นบ้านหลังสุดท้ายของผู้สูงอายุ อีกหลายชีวิต และสัตว์ถูกทอดทิ้งกว่า 40 ตัว

ภิกษุณีธรรมกมลา ผู้นำหญิงที่สงบ เข้มแข็ง และยืนหยัดด้วยหัวใจ ท่านทำงานมานานกว่าสิบปีเพื่อเปิดทางให้ผู้หญิงได้เดินบนหนทางพระธรรม แต่วันนี้ อารามของท่านต้องเผชิญวิกฤตหนัก ข้าวสารและอาหารแห้งใกล้หมด ไฟฟ้าไม่มา น้ำใช้ไม่มี และเส้นทางเข้าออกถูกตัดขาด

ท่ามกลางสภาพอากาศสุดขั้วที่ทวีความรุนแรงขึ้น ชุมชนเล็กๆ แบบนี้ยิ่งเปราะบาง ไม่ใช่เพราะอ่อนแอ แต่เพราะวิกฤตนี้เกินกำลังจะสู้เพียงลำพัง
