Over 10 years of the SENS program, we have trained young adults across Southeast Asia and beyond with the emphasis:
a) Supporting self-discovery and self-awareness.
b) Developing the skills of a genuine and respectful listener as an important part of building relationships.
c) Raising awareness of social structures that promote inequality and violence.
d) Raising awareness of the seriousness of ecological challenges, especially the climate crisis, and
e) Encouraging students to take stock of their immediate social context as well as the global one, and respond energetically and with confidence by taking action in some form.
Nhu, the main character in the video, is one of our Vietnamese alumni. After graduating from the SENS 2025 program, she had the motivation to organise her own program for Vietnamese youth. Learn more about her work in this video.

Climate crisis, socioeconomic inequality, and political violence won’t go away overnight—but together with the growing number of young adults inspired by our program, we know we can make a difference not only in our own lives and in the lives of our loved ones, but also in the broader communities we impact in Southeast Asia and beyond.
